Tell Me Your Dreams by Sidney Sheldon

If you’re looking for a quick read, this suspense novel will keep you turning pages!  Sidney Sheldon was a best-selling author from 1970 until his writing career ended in 2004.  I had read a few of his books but only recently discovered this one.

In Tell Me Your Dreams, three beautiful young women work for a computer company in Silicon Valley.  Ashley is a workaholic with a quiet, puritanical lifestyle.  Toni misses the nightlife in her native England.  A talented singer, she spends her free time singing in bars and searching for the right man on internet chat rooms.  Alette, a shy art lover and gifted amateur painter, is from Rome.

Ashley believes that someone is stalking her and discovers evidence that someone has entered her locked apartment.  Then police find the bodies of men who were all mutilated in the same way; DNA testing confirms that the same person killed them all.  Strangely enough, there is another link between the murders – each man had some connection to one of the three women.

After a young lawyer defends the suspected serial killer in a trial which quickly becomes famous, events lead to a surprise ending.

If you enjoy suspense novels but haven’t yet discovered those by Sheldon, there’s no better time to check the library shelves!
